Our Prayers

Psalms 23 a psalm of David

The LORD is my shepherd
I shall not want
He makes me to lie down in green pastures
He leads me beside the still waters
He restores my soul
He leads me in the paths of rightousness
For his names sake
Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
I will fear no evil
For you are with me
Your rod and your staff they comfort me
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies
You anoint my head in oil
My cup runs over
Surely goodness and Mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life
And I will dwell in the house of the lord
Forever

The Beatitudes

Blessed are the poor in spirit
For theirs is a kingdom of Heaven
Blessed are those who mourn
For they shall be comforted
Blessed are the meek
For they shall inheirit the earth
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for rightousness
For they shall be filled
Blessed are the merciful
For they shall obtain mercy
Blessed are the pure in heart
For they shall see God
Blessed are the peacemakers
For they shall be called Sons Of God
Blessed are those who are persecuted for rightousness' sake
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven

The Lords Prayer

Our father in heaven
Hallowed be your name
Your kingdom come
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread!
And forgive us our debts
As we forgive our debters
And lead us not into temtation
But deliver us from the evil one
For yours is the kingdom and the power and glory forever
